No. 460/Res. No. 287-25 <br />Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions, to which was referred Resolution <br />No. 287-25, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 287-25, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Sinclair Salas-Ferguson, via <br />Communication No. 460, dated August 13, 2025, accepts the dedication of a roadway lot identified <br />as Tax Map Key: 2-4-080:044, situated at Waiakea, South Hilo, Island, County, and State of <br />Hawaii, from Mailani Development, LLC. <br />The landowner seeks to dedicate the roadway and all improvements for public roadway purposes. <br />Committee Chair Heather L. Kimball noted that although no one was present to represent the <br />landowner nor the County, assurance of their presence at the next meeting will be secured, and added <br />the measure is self-explanatory. <br />Committee Member Holeka Goro Inaba noted that since this dedication opportunity was initiated with <br />the previous administration, with some overlap with the current administration, it may be desirous for <br />the departments to re -review the measure. <br />Committee Member James E.
