Kupuna Day is a community celebration honoring the kupuna of North Kohala—the grandparents, elders, and wisdom keepers who continue to nurture our families and strengthen our community. This one -day event, hosted by the Kohala Resilience Hub —a program of the North Kohala Community Resource Center —will take place on September 6, 2025, at the Kohala Village Hub in H5w7, and aims to bring kupuna together with their'ohana in a joyful and supportive setting. The event will feature live entertainment by local musicians, a free nutritious meal, and a welcoming space for social connection and intergenerational bonding. In addition to the festivities, Kupuna Day will provide access to a broad range of critical community resources. Informational booths will be hosted by local agencies and service providers to help kupuna better understand and navigate healthcare services, home care and hospice options, senior day care programs, food assistance (including SNAP benefits), transportation options, and other available support networks. * 52.501(c)(3) Mission Statement Provide local support, funding, and education for projects that will benefit the community of North Kohala. * 53.
