46. According to §2-136, "public purpose" is defined as a benefit to, improvement of, or promotion of the <br />interests in the following areas. Please select all the public benefits to be derived from your County fund <br />request: <br />Culture and the arts <br />Educational concerns <br />Public health and welfare of the people and the environment <br />47. In 2,000 characters or less, describe the measurable outcomes you aim to achieve with these funds. <br />In post -event evaluations, 90% of participants rate the presentations and workshops as valuable, informative, and relevant <br />to their needs. Following the Convention, 80% of participants report establishing new connections with farmers, educators, <br />specialists and community organizations across the state, enhancing their support network. At least 75% of event <br />participants who attended the presentation and workshops committed to utilizing learned tools and practices as indicated <br />by post -event surveys. At least 75% of residents demonstrate an increased understanding of available Hawaii County <br />resources for land and water conservation and food production as evidenced by post -event surveys. At least 70% of event <br />participants who attended the presentations and workshops express a strong interest in actively participating in HFUU <br />program activities that focus on natural resource conservation topics as indicated by post -event surveys. <br />
