Kierkiewicz, Council Member <br /> RE: September 2025 PCPLUED Special Meetings <br /> This memo outlines a proposed pathway for the September 2025 special meetings of the Policy <br /> Committee on Planning, Land Use, and Economic Development regarding the Draft General <br /> Plan 2045. <br /> The Committee will accept public testimony during a special meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 17, <br /> 2025 at 5PM. Testimony will be received in both the Kona and Hilo Chambers, as well as Zoom. <br /> Following this,the goal of the Committee is to reconvene on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 at 9AM in <br /> the Hilo Chambers for a presentation by the Planning Department on the "Sustainable & <br /> Resilient Communities" section of the Draft General Plan 2045 as well as discussion and <br /> deliberations. <br /> If additional time is needed for discussion, another special meeting may be convened on Tuesday, <br /> Sept. 30, 2025 at 9AM. <br /> Mahalo for your attention to this matter. <br /> CC: County Clerk <br /> Planning Director Con�-,.
