Refine enclosure standards in Section 25-4-17, subsection (1), by requiring hens be <br />confined in a "fully enclosed area or other secured space" at all times, replacing "fenced <br />area." Revise this subsection to state : <br />"Hens must be confined to a coop, cage, hutch, hen house, Nneed areff; <br />ethe,- <br />enelesu fully enclosed area, or other secured space at all times. " <br />3. Amend HCC Section 25-5-52 subsection (a) to add "Household hennery" as a permitted <br />use in the Residential Agricultural (RA) zoning district, distinguishing it from larger - <br />scale livestock production. <br />4.
