In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project. <br />The Honoka'a Business Association's (HBA) Honoka'a Renaissance Faire (HRF) is a free, open -to -the -public, and 100% <br />volunteer -run community event taking place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Honoka'a Sports Complex and along <br />Mamane Street in Honoka'a Town. This annual celebration of wonder, lore, and much more features activities for all ages, <br />fun contests, an online silent auction, educational presentations, community support service information, as well as live <br />music and performances on multiple stages throughout the day. With an estimated attendance of 8,000 guests in 2024, <br />this event has become a distinctive and valuable tradition for both locals and international visitors. HRF is an opportunity <br />for local business owners, artisans, creatives, educators, and the broader community to share their talents and foster <br />meaningful relationships within our community and beyond. HRF, as well as all HBA events, are designed as an opportunity <br />for community development and growth for our small, local businesses, community, and youth organizations. We are <br />committed to fostering a sense of community engagement within our town, and these events are a necessary component. <br />Although the committee begins work early in the year, the requested funds will be fully utilized on the day of the event. <br />*44.501(c)(3) Mission Statement <br />Provide quality healthcare that is responsive to our patients' and communities' needs. <br />*45. In 1,000 characters or less, explain how the 5O1(c)(3) is connected to the project. <br />Hamakua Health Center, Inc., is connected to this project, hosted by the Honoka'a Business Association, as a member of <br />the association. The organization is also demonstrating its commitment as a community partner by serving as the fiscal <br />sponsor for county funds, given its status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. In addition, the project provides an opportunity for <br />Hamakua Health Center, Inc., to engage with the community and share information about available services in North <br />HawaPi, including primary care, dental, behavioral health, and other essential resources. <br />* 46.
