COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 348 25. A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE KEA`AU MIDDLE PARENT TEACHER STUDENT ASSOCIATION FOR ITS YOUTH ENGAGEMENT EVENTS. WHEREAS, the Kea`au Middle Parent Teacher Student Association (Kea'au Middle PTSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children; and WHEREAS, the Kea`au Middle PTSA is requesting funds to purchase candies, Halloween decorations, and radio advertisements for public outreach for its Halloween Haunt on October 245 2025, and Community Resource Fair on February 21, 2026, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting the interests of culture and the arts, educational concerns, needs of the poor, youth, the aged, those with physical or emotional disabilities, and public health and welfare of the people and the environment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in accordance with section 2-13 9(a)(2)(C) of the Hawai `i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 are hereby transferred to the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to the Kea` au Middle PTSA for the expenses and purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $1J23 OUT AND FROM: 1010-11-10191 Clerk -Council SVC —Contingency Relief $15123 CREDITED TO: 1010-21-25139 Department of Liquor Control $1,123 Public Programs 530115 Misc.
