Hustace, via Communication No. 548, <br />dated September 26, 2025, amends Chapter 15, Article 7, Section 15-62, of the Hawaii County <br />Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to the Veterans Advisory Committee. <br />Bill No. 96 amends the Veterans Advisory Committee to no longer require one representative <br />each from the American Legion, Big Island National Guard Retirees Association, Big Island <br />Retired Military Association, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as eight at -large members. <br />Committee Member James E. Hustace provided a brief overview.
