Mende to the Liquor Control Adjudication Board. <br />Aloha Council Chair Inaba and Council Members, <br />I am honored to nominate Mr. Donn S. Mende to the Liquor Control Adjudication Board. Born <br />and raised in Hilo, Mr. Mende is a proud graduate of Waiakea High School, Class of 1989. <br />Mr. Mende's professional background reflects his commitment to public service and leadership. <br />He previously served as the Deputy Director in the Department of Research and Development <br />from 2013 to 2016 under the Kenoi Administration. Currently, he is the Loan Manager at HFS <br />Federal Credit Union. <br />In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Mende has an impressive record of volunteer <br />service. He has served separately as both a Police and Liquor Commissioner, demonstrating <br />his long-term commitment to our County and State. Recently, he completed a term as the Chair <br />of the Hawai'i Housing Finance and Development Corporation. <br />Mr. Mende is dedicated to the well-being of our island and is eager to continue his service on <br />the Liquor Control Adjudication Board.
