The proposed amendment <br /> is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 52; material to be <br /> deleted is bracketed and stricken. <br /> SECTION 2 of Bill No. 52, Draft 3, which amends chapter 25, article 4, division 1, of the <br /> Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended) by adding a section, is amended by <br /> amending paragraph (5)to read as follows: <br /> "(5) Household henneries shall be maintained in accordance with applicable best <br /> management practices established or adopted by the State department of <br /> health,the State department of agriculture and biosecurity, and the United <br /> States Department of Agriculture to minimize nuisances such as [neise,] odor, <br /> waste, and vectors in residential areas." <br /> Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a copy of the new draft of this measure that would <br /> result if this amendment were adopted is not attached. <br /> Mahalo nui. <br /> DMO:bkm <br /> Comm, No. <br /> 'ef• Toe <br /> fl; f• Doti NOV - 2025 <br />
