In 2,000 characters or less, describe the measurable outcomes you aim to achieve with these <br />funds. <br />The 29th Annual KWXX Hdolaule'a will deliver measurable cultural, economic, and community outcomes that align <br />with the County's goal of supporting public benefit through arts and cultural programming. This free, public event is <br />expected to attract approximately 20,000 attendees, providing open access to live Hawaiian and contemporary <br />entertainment in a safe and family -friendly environment. More than 20 performances by local musicians, halau hula, <br />and artists will be presented across four stages, promoting the preservation and visibility of Hawari s cultural heritage. <br />The event will also provide vendor opportunities for an estimated 50 local food and craft businesses, generating direct <br />economic activity and supporting small, locally owned enterprises. In addition, over 150 performers and staff will <br />receive professional opportunities, contributing to the sustainability of Hawari Island's creative economy. Collectively, <br />these outcomes will enhance community engagement, strengthen cultural identity, and stimulate economic activity <br />within Downtown Hilo, ensuring that County funds support a program that delivers tangible and inclusive public <br />benefits to residents and visitors alike. <br />
