COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />41G 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br />RECREATION TO PURCHASE DECORATIONS FOR THE MAGIC OF THE <br />SEASONS, HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE EVENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, plans and <br />coordinates organized recreation, athletics, aquatics, and arts and crafts activities for all age <br />groups at recreation centers and aquatic facilities throughout the County of Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for Christmas <br />decorations, which will serve a public purpose by replacing outdated decorations to enhance <br />patron experience in the community at the Magic of the Seasons, Holiday Open House event <br />scheduled for December 8-12, 2025; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase decorations for the Magic of the Seasons, Holiday Open House <br />event at the Hawaii County Building. <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />1010-11-10191 Clerk -Council SVC— Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />1010-51-51702 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />Culture & Education OCE <br />530115 Misc.
