In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project. <br />The loth Annual Prince KOW Day Hdolaule a is a community -focused event modeled on the larger Kau Hawaiian <br />Cultural Center project. The event will be held at Na'alehu Park and feature hula, live music, Hawaiian arts and crafts, <br />cultural exhibitions, resource booths, traditional Hawaiian games, and a historical presentation honoring the legacy of <br />Prince Jonah KOhib Kalanianable. The Hdolaule'a is free and open to the public, providing opportunities for cultural <br />practitioners, small business entrepreneurs, sports clubs, churches, and nonprofit organizations to engage with the <br />community. <br />*46. 5O1(c)(3) Mission Statement <br />To support the development of a new economic base for the District of Ka'O that will enhance economic growth and <br />promote a secure economic future for the community and the children of Ka'O while preserving the rich Native <br />Hawaiian cultural heritage and love for the'aina. <br />* 47. In 1,000 characters or less, explain how the 5O1(c)(3) is connected to the project. <br />The project directly aligns with Hana Laulima Lahui O KaT Inc.'s (HLLLOK) mission by providing opportunities for <br />community members to celebrate and preserve their cultural identity, foster unity, and support sustainable local <br />economic development. HLLOK serves as the lead coordinator of the Hdolaulda, ensuring the event fulfills its goal of <br />promoting cultural heritage, education, and community engagement. <br />*48.
