The number of plants will measure the success of
propagation, distribution, and active use by community members. Participants will gain measurable knowledge in
chronic disease prevention, inflammation management, and the safe use of plant -based remedies through workshops
and hands-on sessions. Gains will be tracked via pre- and post -assessments, attendance, and engagement levels. The
mala la'au will serve as a living classroom, with measurable outcomes including the number of plant species grown,
the number of garden enhancements completed, and the level of volunteer and community participation. Community
resilience will increase as more residents adopt home cultivation of plants, practice self -care, and share knowledge
with'chana and neighbors.
