COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 455 26 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT <br />SCOREBOARD FOR KA`U HIGH AND PAHALA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE <br />KA`U DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation supports recreational programs, <br />projects, and services that help meet the needs of the Big Island community; and <br />WHEREAS, Ka`u High and Pahala Elementary School, one of only two schools in the <br />vast Ka`n district, needs a replacement scoreboard to be used for its athletic programs; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for the <br />purchase and installation of the new scoreboard; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase a new scoreboard for Ka`u High and Pahala Elementary <br />School. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $20,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />1010-11-10191 Clerk-CouncilSVC— Contingency Relief $20,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />1010-51-50706 Department of Parks and Recreation $20,000 <br />Recreation Div Equip <br />570480 Misc.
