NACo Report <br />All three HSAC-appointed NACo Board members participated in the 2025 NACo Fall Board <br />Meeting held December 4-6, 2025, in Wise County (Decatur), Texas. The Board approved <br />NACos 2026 budget, launched the "We Are Counties" campaign, confirmed new Board <br />members and affiliates, and received reports on finance, federal policy priorities, organizational <br />performance, and data initiatives. HSAC representatives also promoted the May 2026 WIR <br />Conference in Maui and discussed NACo Second Vice President candidates, with a <br />recommendation to begin early evaluation and engagement to support a coordinated HSAC <br />endorsement. <br />d. Legislative Report <br />During this reporting period, the Executive Director advanced HSAC's administrative, financial, <br />legislative, and strategic priorities, including support for Executive Committee operations, <br />completion of annual conference closeout activities, stakeholder and legislative engagement, and <br />preparation for the 2026 Legislative Session and upcoming regional and national conferences. <br />Reports approved. <br />5.
