M1Y Oiy"_ <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 525 26 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO RETURN GRANT FUNDS PREVIOUSLY <br />AWARDED BY RESOLUTION NO.468-26, DRAFT 2. <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 468-26, Draft 2, adopted by the Council of the County of <br />Hawaii on February 18, 2026, transferred an appropriation of $2,000 from Contingency Relief <br />funds to the Department of Liquor Control; and <br />WHEREAS, this appropriation was intended to be utilized to award a grant to East <br />Hawaii Cultural Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for expenses relating to the Second <br />Annual Youth Art Series Festival; and <br />WHEREAS, a grant agreement with East Hawaii Cultural Council was cancelled due to <br />weather and closure of the County parks on March 14, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control now wishes to return the unawarded <br />funds back to the Council; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the <br />following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: GENERAL <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: 1010-21-25139 <br />CREDITED TO: 1010-11-10191 <br />Dept of Liquor Control — <br />Public Programs- Misc <br />Contract Svcs <br />Clerk -Council SVC — <br />Contingency Relief <br />
