In addition, the project will provide community -based educational <br />opportunities focused on traditional Hawaiian practices. As a result of participation, community members will increase <br />their knowledge of traditional Hawaiian practices and gain hands-on experience in cultivating and utilizing niu, <br />supporting cultural perpetuation and local food sustainability. <br />
