In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project. <br />The MX808 Association seeks funding to repair and upgrade the security system and the spectator tower at the Hilo <br />Drag Strip motocross track, creating a safe, supportive, and high-energy space where youth can grow, thrive, and <br />pursue their passion for motocross. These improvements will ensure a secure environment for riders, staff, and <br />spectators, while maintaining a legal, fun, and skill -building space for the community. MX808 is dedicated to fostering <br />community, promoting safe riding practices, and supporting youth development through organized, structured <br />motorsport activities. These repairs will help sustain MX808 as a vital hub that encourages confidence, teamwork, <br />discipline, and resilience among participants. <br />*37.501(c)(3) Mission Statement <br />MX808 Association is dedicated to growing the sport of motocross on the Big Island by fueling passion, creating <br />community, and building riders — one lap at a time. <br />* 38.
