• t`l of-- COUNTY OF HAWAII :+ STATE OF HAWAII TE OF'NF'� RESOLUTION NO. 570 26 • A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO VIBRANT HAWAI`I TO SUPPORT THE 2026 RESILIENCE CONFERENCE. WHEREAS,Vibrant Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to convene conversations so that all wa'a(explicit actions) can travel toward a common goal,build community awareness, will, and action from the foundation of our shared values, shift deficit narratives, systems, and policy that perpetuate poverty and inequity, and implement strategies that are developed and resourced by the community and reflect native intelligence; and WHEREAS, Vibrant Hawai`i is requesting funds for expenses related to the 2026 Resilience Conference, including lunch for the presenters and participants, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting educational concerns and the public health and welfare of the people and the environment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that, in accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 are hereby transferred to the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Vibrant Hawaii for the expenses and purposes identified in"Exhibit A,"a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $2,165 OUT AND FROM: 1010-11-10191 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,165 CREDITED TO: 1010-21-25139 Department of Liquor Control $2,165 Public Programs 530115 Misc. Contract Services (Vibrant Hawaii—2026 Resilience Conference)
