No. 547-26 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br />TIME: 2:00 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred <br />Resolution No. 547-26, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 547-26, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Council J S. Yoshimoto, via <br />Communication No. 857, dated April 14, 2026, authorizes the Mayor to enter into an <br />intergovernmental agreement with the State of Hawaii, Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, <br />Ka`n Hospital and Rural Health Clinic, for pre -ordered lunches. <br />r <br />This resolution allows for the receipt of pre -ordered lunches for senior citizens who are assisted by <br />the County's nutritional services and programs. <br />Elderly Activities Operations Director Roann Okamura from the Department of Parks and <br />Recreation was present in the Hilo Chambers to explain the background for this resolution and <br />answer any questions.
