COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 26 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br />RECREATION TO PURCHASE VOLLEYBALL EQUIPMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many <br />diversified recreation programs in our park facilities and gyms that address the needs and <br />interests of the community in a safe and well -maintained environment; and <br />WHEREAS, Council District 2 has various park facilities in need of additional <br />equipment and supplies for its recreation programs and activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br />volleyball equipment, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting <br />the interests of the poor, youth, the aged, those with physical or emotional disabilities, and the <br />public health and welfare of the people and the environment; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase volleyball equipment. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,150 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />1010-11-10191 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />1010-51-50706 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />Recreation Div Equip <br />570480 Misc.
