The company currently serves more than fifty fire <br />departments across four states and already provides these services to Honolulu, Maui, and Kauai <br />counties. <br />This donation, offered in honor of the late Fire Chief Kazuo Todd, consists of approximately 150 <br />comprehensive NFPA 1582-compliant medical examinations (including stress EKG, full -body <br />ultrasound, enhanced cancer screening, and other advanced components not currently part of our <br />annual medical exams). The donor will cover all travel, lodging, and related expenses. The <br />examinations will be conducted on Hawaii Island during July or August 2026, with one week on <br />the Hilo side and one week on the Kona side. The Hawaii Fire Department will coordinate <br />hosting at fire stations and will offer them first to the most senior firefighters, with priority <br />consideration for those over age 40. <br />This donation represents a significant step forward in protecting the health and safety of our <br />firefighters and provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to the pul±'=� a a <br />officials the critical value of NFPA 1582 compliance. <br />Enclosed for your review are: <br />4 Res. 8 -20&a <br />Comm. <br />Ref.
