(40.93 NAY••.. • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I 4: .'-°='' • STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 599 26 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION WITH EXPENSES RELATING TO THE HILO BAY BLAST <br /> FIREWORKS DISPLAY CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY. <br /> WHEREAS,the annual Hilo Bay Blast, a long-standing and highly anticipated <br /> community fireworks display celebrating Independence Day, is scheduled to take place on July <br /> 4, 2026; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br /> fireworks for the celebration; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to purchase fireworks for the annual Hilo Bay Blast fireworks celebrating <br /> Independence Day on July 4,'2026. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 1010-11-10191 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,500 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 1010-51-51702 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,500 <br /> Culture&Education OCE <br /> 530115 Misc.
