Kierkiewicz, Council Member <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 126, Draft 2; AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 25, ARTICLES 1, 3, 5, AND 7, OF THE HAWAI`I <br />COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br />SPECIAL DISTRICTS. <br />Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 126, Draft 2. The amendment is <br />shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the content of Bill No. 126, Draft 2; material to <br />be added is underscored. <br />SECTION 7 of Bill No. 126, Draft 2, which amends chapter 25, article 7, of the Hawaii County <br />Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended) by adding a division, is further amended by adding a <br />section to be inserted as the eighth section of said division and to read as follows: <br />"Section 25-7- Other regulations. <br />Plan approval is required for all new structures and additions to existing structures <br />in the DPC district, except for construction of one single-family dwelling per lot and any <br />accessory buildings." <br />Due to the limited scope of this proposed amendment, a copy of the new draft of this bill that <br />would result if it were adopted is not attached. <br />Thank you. <br />Comm.
