What Hawaii Special ~ /mpics has to offer: <br /> <br /> Year-round sports training and competition in: Athletics (track & field); Aquatics; <br /> Basketball, Bocce; Bowling; Unified Bowling®; Figure Skating; Speed Skating; <br /> Powerlifting; Unified SoftballO; Soccer; Unified Soccerc~; Tee-Ball; Wheelchair and <br /> Developmental Activities. <br /> Instructional Guides <br /> Sports Skills Instructional Program Guides (available in every sport offered), Motor <br /> Activities Instructional Guides, Total Conditioning Manuals and Sports Skills videos are <br /> available to all coaches and special education teachers and are available at no cost. <br /> Program guides also are available at most public school libraries. Guides are illustrated <br /> and include lesson plans and adaptive exercises. <br /> In-Service Training <br /> Instructional sessions are available through Sports Clinics, Leadership Workshops, <br /> Educational Credit Courses, mini presentations and training sessions, classroom visits <br /> and one-on-one consultations. Afull-day sport-specific clinic and practicum are <br /> provided at no cost to those wishing to become accredited Special Olympics coaches. <br /> Miscellaneous Support <br /> Grant moneys, Partners ClubsO, Unified SportsO Programs, after-school sports <br /> programs and family home-training programs also are available through HSO.
