4. Immediate Proposal for Uses:
What is needed is a proposal which will make all the members of our is-
land/global village happy, as well as the land and its various habitant species:
Change our proposal to an immediate reality.
The public/property owners don't want another bridge from forever, and we must
realize that financially, there are other demands on available resources which our subdi-
vision needs even more (see "Paving")
A. Wildlife/History/Nature Preserve/Sanctuary
No paths, no walkways, no trespassing signs, {ornithological/species sanc-
tuary), wildlife only sanctuary during primary research phases of area ,until area can be
carefully and thoroughly examined by appropriate individuals at appropriate times. The
cost would be for the signs. Access into site should attempt to be made through a home-
owner already adjacent to site to minimize trailblazing/disturbing of nesting sites/plant
life. This will prevent "cruisers" from finding a wide open trail on 17th avenue and
taking walks with their bb guns.
There are many species of both plant and animal life within this site that
inviting in the Public could endanger. To first respect the things making their homes and

feeding within this area is the first lesson in Respect of the Aina.
This idea will make the land and animals happy.
Information Center/Website
With a grant proposal designed for both animal and/or plant life, we could
develop awebsite/information processing center which could open up all the research
information obtained for public access without spoiling the habitat. Photos taken by
professional ornithologists, recordings made discreetly of owl cries and hawk cries, and
so much more could be made available to the public this way which would not spoil the
habitat/histony. We could even include a website which could show the archeaolotgical
reconstruction in progress (i.e. ""This week's artifact/room", etc.).
This makes our education/tourism industry happy, as well as researchers in
other lands.
C. Paving.
What we need for bike trails in our subdivision is along the main access
roads where we have commuters, children riding everyday, joggers, etc. To propose a
bike path in an area and then not one on the main road where people have been injured
and killed is disrespectful of their loss and pain. Yes, let's get a safe place for us ail to
travel. How about speed bumps on the side roads, too?
Saving this money and not doing any dozing will make many people happy.
