Kubota Trust <br /> Request: RS-10 to CG-10 <br /> Tax Mnn Key: 2-2-20:007 <br /> The Planning Commission, after a duly held public hearing on December 15, 2000, voted to <br /> recommend for your approval the proposed legislative bill to change the district classi5cation for <br /> approxunately 19,721 square feet of land from Single Family Residential (RS-10) to General <br /> Commercial (CG-10) The property is located on the west side of Kinoole Street approximately <br /> 250 feet south of its intersection with Wailoa Street, and across of the former Sun Sun Lau <br /> Restaurant, Waiakea House Lots, god Stases, South Hilo, Hawaii. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the change of zone <br /> The applicant is requesting for a change of zone designation from a Single Family <br /> Residential (RS-10) to Gemeral Commercial (CG-10) to convert the existing single family <br /> dwelling into an office bwlding. However, the applicant would like the flexibility to <br /> expand the use of the property to allow for other general commercial uses <br /> In order to consider an area for any type of zoning designation, the applicable <br /> goals, policies and standards of the General Plan must be adequately addressed.
