REPORT OF THE <br /> • <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: January 23, 2001 Re: Comm.No. 53/Bill No. 15 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 9:10 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 15, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 15, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 19-01 by Director of Finance William <br /> Takaba, via Communication No. 53, dated January 4, 2001, amends Ordinance No. 00-63, as <br /> amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2001. The amendment is as follows: <br /> From: <br /> 3302.67 Federal Grants— State Civil Defense General $120,000 <br /> Domestic Equipment Program <br /> To: <br /> 010-241-5241.35 Civil Defense Domestic Equipment General $120,000 <br /> Program <br /> These funds may be used only for purchase of personal protective equipment,purchase of <br /> chemical, biological, and radiological detection equipment,purchase of decontamination <br /> equipment, and purchase of communications equipment that enhances the capabilities of State <br /> and County first responders.
