r Community Position Statement: Gateway,3hopping
Center
BUILD THE GATEWAY SHOPPING CENTER IN KEAAU TOWN OR NEXT TO THE BALL
PARK NOT ON THE BYPASS
I reside or am employed in the district of Puna.
Residents of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Orchidland, Ainaloa, and Pahoa
_ side residents need a good bypass, and the intent of the bypass should
not be compromised by placing a third shopping center in the area.
T
We support the Gateway Shopping Center provided it's built within Keaau
Town or adjacent to the Keaau ballpark.
Puna is the fastest growing area on the Island Of Hawaii and traffic
will continue to be a major concern as the area rapidly grows.
We support economic development and support the need for additional
business and jobs. We recommend that the County Of Hawaii approve the
_ Gateway Shopping Center contingent upon its location in Keaau town or
next to the Keaau ballpark.
r- N[a~me ~ Phone Sig sture and Date:
,

_ ~ q~S - 7 ~ UO ~n~'f' J"Ck~ uCc~rte ~9~
~ ~G ~/G ~
_ nce cog •4~75~7
~ ~
~l~c-~Y R~~ S cif o
