Community Position Statement: Gateway Shopping <br /> Center <br /> BUILD THE GATEWAY 3HOPPING CENTER IN IO;AAU TOWN OR NEXT TO THE HALL <br /> PARK NOT O?i THE BYPA88 <br /> I reside or am employed in the district of Puna. <br /> Residents of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Orchidland, Ainaloa, and Pahoa <br /> side residents need a good bypass, and the intent of the bypass should <br /> not be compromised by placing a third shopping center in the area. <br /> We support the Gateway Shopping Center provided it's built within Keaau <br /> Town or adjacent to the Keaau ballpark. <br /> Puna is the fastest growing area on the Island Of Hawaii and traffic <br /> will continue to be a mayor concern as the area rapidly grows. <br /> We support economic development and support the need for additional <br /> business and jobs.
