P.~R,KS & RECREATIO'_~ <br /> Elderly Activities <br /> Progress in Meeting Program Obiectives <br /> FY 2000-01 <br /> EAD ADMINISTRATON <br /> 1 Coordinate a service delivery system that addresses the needs and interests of <br /> older adults by providing comprehensroe and coordinated services, represented <br /> by the division's five mayor programs, for over 7,000 seniors annually and <br /> conducting an annual evaluation on each program <br /> Provided services for 8,831 seniors, or 126% of the established objective of <br /> T,000 seniors. <br /> 2 Maintain the EAD Advisory Council made up of representatives from the 22 <br /> sernor citizen clubs, 14 nutrition sites and the RSVP Advisory Council by <br /> conducting at least two (2) meetings annually servicing 38 <br /> presidents/chairpersons islandwide <br /> Arranged seven Advisory Council district meetings, or 350% of the <br /> objective of two annually. <br /> 3 Maintain an EAD Safety Committee with at least one representative of each <br /> program meeting quarterly to enforce safety procedures, improve unsafe <br /> conditions affecting staff and seniors and give feedback to the department safety <br /> committee, as needed, and conduct asafety on-site evaluation of at least 50 staff <br /> and 25 faalities annually. <br /> Arranged 6 safety meetings, or 150% of the established objective of four <br /> annually. Conducted 82 safety factiity inspections and 58 staff safety <br /> evaluations, or 248% and 112% of the established objectives of 25 and 50 <br /> respectively. <br /> <br /> 4 Produce at least one "Video Highlights" of the division's activities annually. <br /> Provided one "Video Highlight" of the division's activities, or 100% of the <br /> objective established of one video. <br /> 5 Maintain the division's Kupuna News magazine by providing information on all <br /> EAD program actvities and panting at least 2,500 copies for distribution to over <br /> 200 orgarnzations quarterly <br /> Printed and distributed three Issues of the Kupuna News magazine, or 75% <br /> of the objective of four issues. <br /> <br />
