Implementation of design <br /> initiated for all schedule 1 projects. <br /> 3 Morntor through quarterly reports implementation of ADA Transition Plan for <br /> Programs of the Department. <br /> This is being done through the various Division/Sections in the <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> 4 Promote recreational, cultural and leisure opporturnties by informing the public <br /> quarterly through the use of various media including the County's web site, <br /> brochures and press releases. <br /> The County's web site is updated to provide current Information on our <br /> beach parks and facilities. Quarterly brochures are made available to the <br /> public in the lobby area of the Administration office. The bulletin board in <br /> the lobby area of the Administration office is updated weekly to provide <br /> Information on current activities and events of the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. Press releases are submitted to local newspapers, informing <br /> the public of recreational, cultural and leisure opportunities. <br /> 5 Provide personal and professional growth opportunities for admin~stratrve staff <br /> through attendance of at least one training session annually <br /> As of February, three of our staff have attended the training session, <br /> Dealing with Upset Citizens and the Public. <br /> 6 Plan/Renovate/Upgrade one new park or facility during the fiscal year <br /> Upgrading of Lili'uokalani Gardens almost complete. <br /> <br />
