<br /> Memo <br /> To Dennis Director blic Works <br /> From Stanley akemura, Building Division Cluef <br /> Date 03/21/01 <br /> Re STATUS OF BUILDING PROGRAM OBJECTIVES FY 2000-2001 <br /> The following is a status summary of the Division's program objectives for fiscal year 2000- <br /> 2001thni January 31, 2001 <br /> / Reduce the average pkar review hme for residential permits <br /> from ouer 2 weeks to one and <br /> one half <br /> weeks <br /> For the year to date the average plan review time is running at approximately 11 5 days <br /> 2 Reduce the a?+erage turn around time for called inspections to 4 working days. <br /> For the year to date the inspectors are able to meet the 4 day turn around except for those <br /> areas which are visited only once per week <br /> 3 Schedule and complete 75% of routine (non~nhcalJ maintenance and repair requests <br /> within two months of receipt of request <br /> Data from the carpenter shop shows that 98 % of work requests are being completed <br /> wrthui the 2 month tunelimit <br /> 4 Establish a computer <br /> file of <br /> assigned house mmrbers issued m the last 5 years <br /> With the assistance of Data Systems Department the Division has been able to input all of <br /> the addresses assigned since 1992 imo the County's wmputer data bank <br /> • Page ~ <br /> <br />
