General Plan and LUPAG Map: The General Plan document identifies the Keauhou- <br />Kona area as a Major Resort Destination. The General Plan Land Use Pattern <br />Allocation Guide (LUPAG) Map designates the area of the subject property for Urban <br />Expansion uses. Urban Expansion Area allows for a mix of high density, medium <br />density, low density, industrial and/or open designations in areas where new <br />settlements may be desirable, but where the specific settlement pattern and mix of uses <br />have not yet been determined. It is occasionally used for grazing The property is adjacent <br />and immediately east and south of the proposed Bayview Estates at Keauhou Phase II <br />subdivision.
