The <br /> Keaukaha Gymnasium complex is being constructed to replace the Kawananakoa Hall. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating these funds for the Keaukaha Gymnasium. <br /> Also enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the <br /> Office of Hawaiian Affairs. <br /> Because part of the funding for this project will lapse on June 30, 2001, the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation would like to request a waiver from the Finance committee and have <br /> this bill heard at the Council meeting scheduled for May 2, 2001. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. <br /> William T.
