Yamashiro, the following is submitted for your <br /> consideration: <br /> Department: Mayor's Office <br /> Division: Division of Industrial Safety <br /> Program: Industrial Safety/Health, Safety & Drivers <br /> Improvement and Workers' Compensation <br /> A. PROGRAMS <br /> 1. Identify new goals and objectives reflected in your FY98 <br /> budget and the rationale and authority for implementation. <br /> The Division of Industrial Safety has as its primary <br /> goal, the development and implementation of a safe and <br /> healthy work environment for all County employees. <br /> Historically, the areas listed below impact on safety <br /> performance. Providing assistance and maintaining contact <br /> with these areas and interacting between the department <br /> and government will help the department attain its goal. <br /> The department will achieve its goal by: <br /> a. Coordinating the County's Safety programs and Safety <br /> related training activities. <br /> b. Developing, updating and implementing Safety policies <br /> to comply with current laws and safety philosophies. <br /> c. Analyzing and maintaining accidelit reports, records <br /> and other statistical Safety and Workers' <br /> Compensation data. <br /> d.
