No. 48-01 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:35 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 48-01, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 48-01, transmitted by Director of Finance William T. Takaba, via <br /> Communication No. 113, dated February 1, 2001, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from <br /> the Friends of the Pana`ewa Zoo. <br /> The Friends of the Pana`ewa Zoo has graciously donated a variety of Dart Frogs and materials <br /> for construction of a Children's Zoo to the Department of Parks & Recreation, Pana`ewa <br /> Rainforest Zoo. The value of this donation is estimated at $15,690.00. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to the Friends of the Pana`ewa Zoo, P.O.
