No. 39-01 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 2:55 p.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 39-01, transmitted <br /> <br /> by Mayor Harry Kim per Communication No. 95, dated January 12, 2001, regarding the <br /> <br /> naming of streets in the County of Hawaii, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 39-01 authorizes the approval of the street names for the roadways within <br /> Pa`auilo Village, Pa`auilo Camp, and Nakalei Camp, Hamakua, Hawaii. <br /> <br /> The Planning Commission at its December 15, 2000, meeting approved the names for the <br /> <br /> roadways in Exhibit "A" as follows: <br /> Pa`auilo Makai Road - traditionally used name; literally, Pa`auilo <br /> Road towards the sea <br /> Namilimili Lane - meaning pet, darling, beloved, admiration <br /> Namilimili Road - meaning pet, darling, beloved, admiration <br /> Pa`auilo Hui Road - meaning place to meet in Pa`auilo <br /> Pa`auilo Hui Loop - meaning place to meet in Pa`auilo <br /> Pa`auilo Paka Loop - traditionally used name; literally, Pa`auilo <br /> Park Loop <br /> Nakalei Loop - after Nakalei Camp, a historically used <br /> name <br /> Po`ehana Place - meaning working people <br /> PC-13 <br /> <br />
