No. 77-O1 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:10 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 77-01, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 77-01, transmitted by Fire Chief Edward Bumatay, via Communication No.198, <br /> dated April 20, 2001, authorizes the Hawaii County Fire Department to enter into an agreement <br /> with the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park <br /> Service, to provide 24-hour ambulance service within the Park and surrounding Volcano <br /> communities. <br /> Prior to December 1999, the United States Army provided a 24-hour ambulance service <br /> originating at the Kilauea Military Camp.
