COUNTY OF HAWAI£:: STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO DISPOSE OF REAL <br /> PROPERTY BEING PARCEL 11, SITUATE AT KAUHAKO, SOUTH KONA, ISLAND, <br /> COUNTY AND STATE OF HAWAII, TAX MAP KEY (3)8-6-009:011, TO THE <br /> <br /> DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY, COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is the owner of vacant real property located at <br /> Kauhako, South Kona, Hawaii, specifically identified as Tax Map Key (3)8-6-009:011, being <br /> <br /> more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and delineated on Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawaii, would like to use this <br /> <br /> property for the proposed Hookena standpipe site; and <br /> WHEREAS, this request for acquisition of property by the Department of Water Supply <br /> <br /> has been approved by Mayor Harry Kim; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2-120 of the Hawaii County Code allows the Council, by <br /> <br /> resolution, to dispose of real property to governmental agencies and direct the finance director to <br /> <br /> negotiate the disposition of real property by selling it in fee simple at such price and on such <br /> <br /> terms and conditions deemed proper to governments and governmental agencies authorized to <br /> <br /> hold lands in fee simple. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> <br /> HAWAII, in accordance with Section 2-120 of the Hawaii County Code, that the County of <br /> <br /> Hawaii authorizes the Director of Finance to dispose of the real property being Parcel 11, <br /> located at Kauhako, South Kona, Hawaii, identified as Tax Map Key (3)8-6-009:011, to the <br /> <br /> Department of Water Supply, at no charge, for the purpose of the location of the Hookena <br /> standpipe site. <br /> <br />
