COUI\1TY OF ~IA~V-6I STATE OF I~AWAI`I I~SOLUTION NO. 0~ 0~, RESOLUTION AUTI°IORIZINCa TIME PAYIUIENT OF FUN®S OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AN® OI° IUIORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A IIAULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPY IVIACI~INE WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for one (1) copy machine for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Administration Office; and WHEREAS, their current copy machine is seven (7) years old and is in need of constant repairs; and WHEREAS, acquisition of this machine will reduce downtime, thereby improving the productivity and efficiency of the office staff. NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED O3Y TOME COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement of a copy machine for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Administration Office. 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 15th day of August , 2001.
