NO. 275 /BILL NO. 77 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 1:15 p.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Parks & Environmental Management, to which was referred <br /> Communication No. 275, and the attached Bill No. 77, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Bill No. 77 is to name the athletic field in the Kona Scenic Park in honor of <br /> Clarence Lum-Won. Specifically, this bill proposes an amendment to the Parks and <br /> Recreational Facility Schedule established by Ordinance No. 00-15. <br /> Communication No. 275, dated July 20, 2001, from Council Member Nancy Pisicchio, <br /> transmits Bill No. 77 for the Council's review and consideration. <br /> Council Member Nancy Pisicchio reported that according to Deputy Corporation Counsel <br /> Craig Masuda, present definitions contained in the County Code do not permit the naming as <br /> proposed by the bill.
