REQUEST: <br /> The Corporation Counsel -Family Support would like to enter into a 5 year lease agreement for two postage <br /> meters. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION FUSE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED <br /> The postage meters will be used at the Family Support Division's Hilo and Kona branch offices. The Hilo <br /> Branch's existing postage meter was purchased in 1987, is obsolete and the US Postal Service will not be <br /> resetting the equipment to allow reading of the meter. The Kona Branch is currently utilizing postage <br /> stamps. The Family Support Division anticipates an increase in its workload requiring numerous court <br /> documents to be mailed.
