No. 121-01 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:50 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 121-01, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 121-01, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via <br /> Communication No. 326, dated August 28, 2001, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from <br /> the Big Island Table Tennis Association. <br /> The Big Island Table Tennis Association has graciously donated four ping pong tables with <br /> accessories to the Department of Parks & Recreation which will be distributed to Yano Hall, <br /> Hale Halawai, Hisaoka Gym, and the Waimea Community Center. The value of this donation is <br /> estimated at $1,600.00. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to Mr. John Romoa, Program Director, Big Island Table <br /> Tennis Association, P.O.
