SCIiEDULE A <br /> LOS~VER KAUMANA GAItl)Efi15 CITIZEN PATROL <br /> IvIISSION/GOAL: <br /> Reduce speeding motorists in the Lower I~auanana Gazdens community. <br /> STRATEGIES: <br /> • Initiate a citizen patrol in the neighborhood to reduce speeding. <br /> • Partner with the cornnnunity policing officers for training and community traffic <br /> awazeness operations. <br /> S OLUTIONIIlvIPLE1VIENTATION: <br /> • Initiate a citizen patrol comprised of about thirty members. <br /> • Purchase equipment for patrols. <br /> • Initiate a training session, conducted by community policing officers, on traffic <br /> awareness and safety. <br /> • Conduct two Community-Traffac Awazeness Projects (C-TAP). <br /> • Record license place numbers of motor vehicles observe speeding, driving <br /> recklessly, not using occupant safety devices and/or having other violations and <br /> reporting this information to the police for follow-up. <br /> <br /> EVALUATION: <br /> • Number of training sessions held. <br /> • Number of citizens participating in patrols. <br /> • Number of patrols conducted. <br /> • Equipment purchased for patrols. <br /> • Number of C-TAP projects conducted. <br /> • dumber of traffic warnings or citations issued per speed check event. <br /> • Vumber of traffic violations reports made by community members to the Traff c <br /> Services Section or Community Police. <br /> <br />
