We believe <br /> that an irradiation processing facility will help build agricultural exports. New farmlands and investments can be <br /> devoted to a wider range of agricultural crops if we support post-harvest treatment for export. This will help our <br /> farms, our families, and our community. <br /> Irradiation treatment at low dose levels for quarantine processing has been proven safe. You have been given a <br /> wealth of information concerning the safety of food irradiation. <br /> Please give our farmers the chance to export otu unique crops and commodities to mainland markets. We have <br /> an opportunity to support our farmers, build our agricultural sector, expand commercial use of our airport, and <br /> put an end to the struggling East Hawaii economy.
