The partnership between Hawaii Island Humane Society <br />(HIIH)/ARCH <br />HIHS role: <br />The shelter's role in this program is: <br />1. Assisting in the promotion of spaying/neutering through this program <br />2. Provide the web -site with photos and information on sheltered pets for posting. <br />3. Work with ARCH in foster care and educational programs. <br />4. Keep Foster Care program records <br />Shelter will be working toward the goal of reallocation of their funds at the end of S years to <br />run a spay/neuter program that will continue to keep the public motivated.(free spay/neuters and <br />education) and adoptions (of "adoptable pets") a priority over euthanasia. Monies saved from <br />the current spay/neuter program can be reallocated for these expenses during the 5 -year period. <br />ARCH role: <br />ARCH's role will to be <br />1. Implement the spay/neuter program over the next 5 years <br />2. Advertise <br />3. Assist in the Foster Care program <br />4. Set up the Website; assist in the training of the programmers <br />S. Will keep the records of numbers of pets being altered through this program. <br />6. Will disburse funds for the spay/neuter program <br />7.
