'EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />QUALIFICATIONS: Self -motivated, independent individual with supervisory skills. <br />Successful candidate will possess a sincere love for animals, people, a sense of <br />community , and a strong desire to work within the structure of existing sponsoring <br />organization to successfully implement programs to reduce the incidence of <br />euthanasia among the dog and cat population of the Big Island. Successful candidate <br />will possess administrative, fiduciary, communication skills as well as an exceptional <br />ability to coordinate people. Must be computer oriented and be able to coordinate <br />multiple tasks and possess good time management skills. <br />Salary: <br />Benefits: health insurance and paid vacations <br />Responsibilities: Oversee Animal Rescue Coalition of Hawaii's Spay/Neuter and <br />Animal Adoption program in coordination with Hawaii Island Humane Society and <br />other organizations. Report directly to A. R. C.H and it's committees. <br />Duties: <br />-implement, coordinate and oversee spay/neuter program, foster care program and pet <br />adoption program <br />-foster and coordinate harmonious communication between ARCH, HIHS other <br />programs, the public and participating veterinarians <br />-be responsible for community relations, educational programs and organize events <br />-facilitate spay/neuter, pet adoption and foster care programs <br />-compile quarterly progress reports for Maddie's Fund <br />-report to financial committee <br />-oversee website for lost and adoptable pets <br />-promote, oversee and facilitate Volunteers assignments and functions <br />solicit donations to the program <br />-facilitate the compilation of necessary reports and Federal Tax Reports <br />-produce newsletters, public educational materials via the computer <br />-other dutues as the Board of Directors sees fit <br />15 <br />
