Bill 121 as we originally submitted it <br /> addressed concerns about people not able to pay higher taxes, the disabled, and useless lands. <br /> I feel that the amendments made to the bill result in a measure that is not fair and equitable to <br /> the people of this county. We `will continue to pursue revisions to the real property tax code <br /> as a whole with emphasis, as I stated before, on making our real property tax system as fair <br /> and equitable as possible. That has always been my goal, and that goal still stands.
